As the crisis around the new coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to expand it is increasing also criminal activity related with “phishing” under cover of official entities for the capture of personal data, “crowdsourcing” to collect donations for fake campaigns to buy medical equipment or other needs related with COVID 19 crises and fake digital platforms for real-time information on the evolution of COVID19 aimed at “device infection”. Citizens and organizations should be attentive to these risks and assume prudent behavior.
